Principle
This website is deliberately built to be data-frugal: it uses no cookies and no third-party analytics services. Fonts are served by this website itself; no connection to external font services takes place. The only tool used to measure reach is firstload, our own cookie-free analytics (see below).
Hosting and server logs
The website is hosted by Vercel Inc. When you visit, technically necessary connection data (e.g. IP address, time of access, page requested) is processed in server logs to provide the website securely and reliably (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR). This data is not merged with other data sources.
Reach measurement (firstload)
This website uses firstload, a self-developed analytics tool (embedded via firstload.fastercode.studio), to count page views in aggregate form. firstload works without cookies and stores no persistent identifiers in your browser. For same-day recognition it derives a check value (HMAC) from IP address and browser signature using a key that changes daily; neither IP address nor browser signature is stored in plain text, and from the following day the check value can no longer be attributed to any person. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in privacy-preserving reach measurement (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR).
Contact form
If you use the contact form, the details you provide (name, how to reach you, content of your message) are processed exclusively to handle and answer your inquiry (Art. 6 (1) (b) and (f) GDPR). For this purpose they are stored in kontact — our own contact and inquiry system, operated by PinkStone on its own infrastructure. The data is not used for advertising, not shared with third parties, and deleted once your inquiry is settled and no statutory retention obligations apply.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies — not even so-called “technically necessary” ones. Details are in the cookie policy.
Your rights
You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection (Art. 15–21 GDPR). You also have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. For any request, an informal message to the address above is all it takes.
